What are we doing?

The basic idea is to see if we can start a Maker Space that can host both clean (i.e. crafting, electronics) and dirty (i.e. carpentry) activities.

What we have

• A basic code of conduct

  Code of Conduct

• Some agreement on the space having to be located in the Poblenou / Clot side of the city

• A small amount of members who have been committing 35 euros a month for a few months to kickstart the space.

  Membership

• The notion that members can either pay more and have a right to a personal space at maybe around 50+ EUR per month per square meter, maybe more. or pay less and have walk-in access and use of machines but no right to leave their unfinished projects or personal stuff around. this latter tier would maybe be 35 EUR per month.

• probably something else I'm forgetting

What we need

• An industrial space that is affordable enough and allows doing what we want to do, without too many neighbors we can disturb (especially after normal working hours).
• More members that are willing to commit money and energy into making it happen, because with only the current committed group it won't be sustainable yet. that's you all new people in this group, hopefully 😜
